Long Barn - Hayloft, Housemartins and Piggery

These lovely holiday cottages were nominated 'best' self-catering accommodation in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park by The Guardian in 2007.

The cottages have been imaginatively converted from the secluded stone outbuildings at Rhoslanogfach on the West coast of Pembrokeshire between St. Davids and Strumble Head, Fishguard.

The Long Barn includes three adjacent cottages (sleeping 4, 4, and 2 resp.) while the Carthouse (sleeping 6) is a separate cottage across the courtyard. All cottages have private gardens.

On holiday in this beautiful location you will enjoy peace and tranquillity surrounded by gently rolling Pembrokeshire countryside with wonderful views to the sea and Strumble Head.

Several footpaths pass the cottages taking you on varied rural walks and leading you to the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path (20 mins walking).

There are two particularly lovely bathing beaches close by and Whitesands at St. Davids is only a 15 minute drive away.

Within a few mile radius of the cottages at Rhoslanogfach, Pembrokeshire offers several excellent restaurants, pubs and cafés, for example at Porthgain, St. Davids, Solva, and Fishguard.

Prices for 2010 range from: Low Season £300 - £400 to High Season £520 - £760

The Long Barn itself has been converted into three separate self contained cottages, in addition to the owner's cottage, each with its own small lawned terrace leading to a communal area ideal for more energetic games. The design of these cottages emphasises the beauty of the buildings including curved windows, hidden niches and vaulted roofs.

Relax in tasteful surroundings. Eat breakfast in the sunny private gardens on the east side of the barn and sip wine in the evening sunset on the west side. Children will enjoy the large communal garden for more boisterous pursuits.
